  • We are currently only self-pay. But don’t worry! We are getting paneled with insurance. Sign up at the bottom of the page to stay up to date with what insurances we are accepting or check back here.

    • Please make sure all forms and documents are completed prior to your first session.

    • If you are attending equine-therapy please come appropriately dressed for the farm including closed toed shoes and appropriate dress as covered in your initial consult.

    • All minors must be accompanied by an adult who has legal guardianship and is able to consent to services in their first session.

    • For in person sessions with minors, all adults must remain on the farm premises at all times while their child is there unless otherwise specifically stated and agreed upon.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. By law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. This will be provided for all self-pay clients prior to first session.

  • No! No prior horses experience is required to engage in this type of therapy.

    • Session costs depend on the type and length of session. Session prices range from $75 to $200 per session. There is no cost for our free 15 minute initial consultation. Go to the contact tab on our website to request your free consult!

  • Everything said in sessions is confidential with a few exceptions. These exceptions will be covered in your intake paperwork and covered in your first session. Possible exceptions to confidentiality include but are not limited to the following:

    • Child abuse, elder abuse, or abuse to the disabled

    • Duty to Protect/Duty to Warn: If intent to harm self or others is disclosed (suicidal/homicidal ideation)

    • Court Orders

    • Negligence Suits

    • Employees/Agents of the practice for operational purposes/needs

  • I am not licensed to prescribe medication but can offer recommendations for referrals.

  • No. Equine Facilitated Therapy is all ground-based interaction with the horse and clinician.

    • All sessions must be paid for at the time of the session. Sessions can be paid for online through your client portal or payment can be arranged with your provider.
